About Us
Design & Survey Solutions Ltd provides various engineering service to a number of onshore and offshore clients within the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, construction and nuclear sectors. We specialize in varies types of surveying from land surveying on building sites/ land, laser scanning and dimensional control for the more precise jobs required on pipework and TP flanges.
The company can provide method statements and risk assessments to allow work to be carried out on various sites and have a competent work force to allow the taking out of permits for those sites that are within a controlled environment.
Other activities us as a company can provide is producing 3D models for clash checking, the production of piping isometrics and redline mark- up drawings are some of the many thing’s engineering can supply.
We use the most up to date software’s for TP calculations and drawing packages to deliver to a high standard.
Our Services
Surveying & Managing Services
Provide Construction support with setting out, monitoring services, settlement checks and verticality’s by using various survey methods.
We also do Laser scanning in areas onshore and offshore, set up control networks, Hit key points and Tie-in points with a theodolite. Processing scan data to generate pointcloud and use a survey software to calculate flange information to allow engineering to carryout design work for fabrication.
Engineering Services
Generate 3d models for routing new pipework or minor modifications to existing pipework. These can be used for clash checking to guarantee a first time fit when pipework arrives at the worksite whether that be onshore or offshore. From the 3d model various types of drawings can be produced like fabrication drawings to allow the pipework to be fabricated. P&ID drawings, corrosion circuit drawings, pipe support drawings and redline mark ups. All drawings are carried out to the correct UK and international piping standards and regulations.
